Turkish international road transport companies carried out approximately 1.97 million export trips in the first 11 months of 2025, with Turkish vehicles accounting for nearly three-quarters of the shipments. This underscores Türkiye's strategic role as a logistics hub connecting Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East, despite ongoing visa restrictions and geopolitical challenges. Turkish trucks dominated Middle East routes, while shipments to Europe increased by 4%. Sector representatives highlighted persistent EU visa discrimination against Turkish drivers as a major hurdle, even as new transit opportunities emerge through Syria and Iraq, pointing to future growth potential....
