Empowering African Children with Solar Power Systems

By: PV magazine

In celebration of World Children's Day, Felicitysolar joined a community event in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), donating school bags, stationery, and essential supplies to more than 300 children. The initiative reflects the company’s mission to bring hope and improvement to communities across Africa.

The event also served as a platform to address the severe energy challenges facing the DRC. Despite the country's rich natural resources, only about 22% of the population has stable access to electricity—a figure that drops to less than 1% in rural areas. Frequent power outages hinder education, healthcare, and economic growth.

To help bridge this gap, Felicitysolar presented its range of off-grid and hybrid solar energy solutions tailored for both residential and commercial use. The company’s offerings include solar inverters and LiFePO4 batteries in various configurations, as well as larger-scale industrial energy storage systems capable of storing up to 5.7 MWh. These technologies are designed to deliver reliable, sustainable electricity even in remote regions, supporting schools, hospitals, and community infrastructure.

By integrating solar power into local development efforts, Felicitysolar aims to create stable learning environments for children, improve essential services, and lay the groundwork for long-term sustainable growth in the DRC and beyond.
