Octopus Energy Generation has joined the "Scaling Up Renewables in Africa" campaign as the only British private-sector partner. The company will catalyze $450 million through its "Power Africa" initiative for grid infrastructure, solar, and wind projects. This commitment complements its existing investments, including a stake in an off-grid solar company and Sierra Leone's first wind farm, aligning with the campaign's goal to deliver clean energy to 17.5 million households by 2030....
