Lifezone Metals is raising $15 million through a share offering to advance Tanzania's Kabanga nickel project, following a $60 million loan, targeting a mid-2026 investment decision for the $942 million project. Despite nickel prices falling 60% since 2022, the project aims to produce 902,000 tons of nickel over 18 years alongside copper and cobalt. Lifezone recently consolidated control by acquiring BHP's stake, while the Tanzanian government retains a 16% share in the strategic asset crucial for the energy transition, though necessary mining permits remain pending....
