Turkey has extended its Russian gas contracts for one year while actively diversifying its energy imports, notably through major LNG deals with the U.S. and plans to invest in American gas production. The country is also negotiating with Iran to increase gas imports, including from Turkmenistan. Alongside these efforts, Turkey is expanding its LNG import infrastructure and pursuing the construction of two new nuclear power plants through international partnerships to meet its growing energy needs....
