The Sabodala-Massawa gold mine expansion in Senegal, led by Endeavour Mining, includes the construction of a 1.2-million-tonne-a-year BIOX plant to process refractory ore. This expansion is expected to boost production by 194,000 oz/y over five years, reaching over 400,000 oz annually by 2025. The project, completed within budget, achieved first gold pour in May 2024, with a ramp-up to full capacity underway....
