In 2024, Saudi Arabian ports handled over 331 million tons of cargo, with exports rising 9.3% to 222.4 million tons and imports increasing 3.6% to 108.9 million tons. King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu was the top export hub, while King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam led in imports and container handling. A total of 8,693 ships called at the ports, with Jeddah Islamic Port receiving the highest number. The data also noted a decrease in passenger traffic, which fell 19.6% to approximately 912,800....
