Orion Minerals has appointed Johan van Dyk as the project director for the construction phase of the Prieska mine. The company has also signed a non-binding funding agreement with Glencore for $200–250 million. Orion aims to achieve its first concentrate production by December 2026, with expected annual outputs of 22,000 tons of copper and 65,000 tons of zinc....
