Egypt leads container throughput with Turkish ports as trade volumes surge...

At the TransMEA 2025 forum in Cairo, Turkish Minister Uraloğlu highlighted that Egypt was Türkiye's top maritime trade partner in October 2025, with a bilateral container flow of 181,534 TEU. He also reported a 3.5% annual growth in Turkish port container volume, reaching 11.7 million TEU. The minister participated in high-level meetings and a ministerial panel to discuss regional connectivity, using the platform to promote Türkiye's infrastructure expertise and strategic vision, including its Development Road Project, to enhance its role as a key logistics hub....
