Oman's Asyad Group has received financial bids from four consultancies for a contract to conduct engineering and feasibility studies for the expansion of its drydock in Duqm. The submitted bids range from approximately $731,000 to $6.55 million. The scope of the consultancy work includes designing the yard expansion and evaluating the economic feasibility, environmental impact, and operational efficiency of new berth and dock options. This project is part of the ongoing development of the Port of Duqm, which already features significant ship-repair infrastructure, including two large graving docks....
