DP World to develop logistics terminal in Uzbekistan...

DP World and Tashkent Invest have formed a joint venture to develop a multimodal logistics terminal near Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The terminal, which will support trade between Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, will be built in three phases, totaling $288m. Phase one will involve constructing a rail terminal and warehouse complex, with additional warehouse capacity planned in later phases. The terminal will have direct access to Uzbekistan's national rail network, major highways, and Tashkent International Airport, facilitating efficient multimodal cargo transfer. The project will benefit from customs and tax incentives....
