Egypt has signed an amendment to the commitment agreement for the Abu Marwat gold project, allowing the Canadian firm Aton Mining to move forward with commercial exploitation. The agreement establishes a new financial model to support investment, improve project viability, and advance gold extraction in the Eastern Desert. A dedicated company, Abu Marwat Gold Mines Company, will carry out operations under the oversight of the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority....
