The Transport General Authority's inspection teams detained 1,417 individuals from December 13 to December 19 for operating unlicensed passenger transport services. Among those apprehended, 799 were cited for soliciting passengers illegally using private vehicles, while 618 were found transporting passengers without authorization. Legal actions, including vehicle seizures and financial penalties, were applied as part of ongoing efforts to improve competitiveness and uphold safety and service standards within the sector....
