L&T Secures Power Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure Orders in Middle East...

L&T's Power business has won large orders worth up to $600 million for grid infrastructure in the Middle East. The projects include building a crucial 400kV substation in the UAE to directly interconnect the GCC power grid with Oman. In Saudi Arabia, an order is for 380kV transmission lines to integrate renewable energy plants. Additional work includes constructing new 132kV substations to meet growing electricity demand....
