Oriole Releases Production Estimates for Cameroon’s Mbe Gold Mine

The Mbe Project in Cameroon could produce between 0.82 to 1.34 million ounces of gold, confirms an exploration campaign conducted by project operator UK mining firm Oriole Resources.
The production estimates are based on 13 drill holes completed as part of a 24-hole Phase 1 drilling program, set for completion by the end of Q3 2025.
“The maiden exploration target for the Company’s Mbe project is a significant milestone achieved, and we are delighted with the target range which has a median of 38Mt at a mean grade of 0.86g/t for 1.1Moz contained gold,” stated Martin Rosser, CEO, Oriole Resources.
The company aims to publish a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the project in Q4 2025.
The mine will be developed as an open-pit project, with 54.4% of the gold recoverable via carbon-in leach processing and an additional 12.4% via hydrochloric acid. Mineralization at Mbe is similar to that of Oriole Resources’ Bibemi Gold Mine in Cameroon.
