Ivory Coast: New Campaign Launches at African Gold’s Didievi Prospects

Mining company African Gold has launched a new drilling campaign at the Didievi Gold Project in the Ivory Coast. The aim is to expand the project’s footprint, better understand the mine’s geology and uncover additional resources.
The campaign will cover up to 40,000 meters of drilling, building on an earlier project which confirmed an inferred gold resource of 989,000 ounces near surface.
African Gold is partnering with Montage Gold to deploy the initiative.
Adam Oehlman, Managing Director of African Gold said the project is fully funded. “Drilling is expected to continue throughout 2025 and into 2026,” added Oehlman.
The mine includes the Biaffo and Pranoi gold discoveries and is strategically in proximity to processing infrastructure with an estimated 8 million tons of capacity.
