Egypt's Suez Canal Authority signed an MoU with the Namibian Ports Authority to provide expertise in port development, marine construction, and maritime training, as part of its strategy to expand operations across Africa. The agreement aims to reduce Namibia's reliance on foreign expertise by leveraging the SCA's advanced technology and experience for its major port development plans. SCA Chairperson Osama Rabie highlighted the authority's recent successful project to reopen Libya's Sirte port as a precedent for this type of international cooperation. The partnership will involve the exchange of technical knowledge, the leasing of marine equipment, and specialized training through SCA academies....
