In 2025, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai expanded its installed capacity to 3,860 MW, representing about 21.5% of DEWA's total power generation. The addition of 800 MW through photovoltaic and concentrated solar power technologies supports Dubai's Clean Energy Strategy 2050. The solar park's capacity target for 2030 has been raised to over 7,260 MW, up from 5,000 MW, with clean energy expected to contribute around 34% of Dubai’s power capacity in the next five years. The seventh phase, now tendered, will add 2,000 MW of solar linked to substantial energy storage, reinforcing the park's global standing, including a Guinness World Record for CSP capacity....
