By: Railway gazette international

Now in its 6th round, TransMEA has become the region’s go-to platform for transport and logistics transformation — bringing together government leaders, industry experts, and global innovators to shape the future of mobility in the Middle East and Africa.

Organized by TradeFairs International in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport of Egypt, TransMEA 2025 will take place from 9–11 November 2025 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo.

Held under the slogan “Transport & Logistics in Action: Connecting the Middle East & Africa,” the exhibition is a strategic platform for fostering regional integration, advancing mobility solutions, and accelerating investment across the transport and logistics landscape.

TransMEA 2023 set a new benchmark, with 400 exhibitors from +24 countries presenting cutting-edge innovations across a broad spectrum of sectors. Technologies and solutions on display covered rail systems, road transport, maritime infrastructure, smart freight solutions, urban mobility platforms, and logistics automation. The event drew participation from: Egypt, France, Germany, China, Spain, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Hungary, Switzerland, Japan, Saudi Arabia, United States, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Qatar, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Zambia.

The last edition of TransMEA also hosted 15 Arab transport ministers, fostering regional policy discussions and public-private collaboration, especially in sectors like railway infrastructure, port development, and digital transformation in logistics.

That edition also delivered significant economic and policy outcomes, including EGP 350 billion in government-level MoUs and investment commitments, and more than EGP 100 billion in private sector and corporate agreements.

With over 35,000 visitors, the exhibition attracted industry leaders, policymakers, and general audiences. Standout features included the Cairo Monorail, the Desiro High-Capacity Train, and a variety of advanced maritime displays, all underscoring the region’s commitment to innovation and sustainable infrastructure.

Now, as anticipation grows for TransMEA 2025, this year’s edition is expected to surpass expectations, offering unmatched opportunities for dialogue, deal-making, and showcasing the future of integrated transport systems across the Middle East and Africa.

TransMEA is set to welcome a significant delegation of over 12 transportation ministers from various Arab and African nations. This high-level attendance underscores the event’s importance as a key platform for regional cooperation and dialogue on advancing transportation infrastructure and technology. The presence of these ministers will facilitate crucial discussions, foster partnerships, and align strategic goals to meet the future demands of a rapidly evolving transportation sector across the two continents.

TRANSMEA is proud to be held under the High Patronage of H.E. President Abd El Fattah El Sisi. The event is organized in cooperation with H.E. Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport
