Schneider Electric certified as employer of choice across 11 key Middle East and Africa markets

By: Zawya

Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, has announced achieving multiple employer certifications—Great Place To Work®, Best Place To Work™, and Top Employer®—across 11 markets in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The certifications are based on confidential employee surveys and confirm the company's commitment to fostering a high-trust, purpose-driven workplace culture to support innovation and growth in the zone.

In 2025, Schneider Electric hired nearly 900 new employees and inducted over 120 graduates into programs across 26 MEA countries. This talent drive aligns with a previously announced AED 100 million investment in education and next-generation talent development for the region.

Neslihan Ogan, HR Vice President for the MEA Zone, stated that cultivating this environment is critical infrastructure for tackling regional challenges like energy access and digitalization. She emphasized that the recognition validates their strategy to attract and retain the talent needed to build a sustainable future.

Key factors contributing to the high employee satisfaction scores included a sense of empowerment and autonomy, a strong connection to the company's sustainability mission (Electricity 4.0), and an inclusive work environment. Recent initiatives such as investments in sustainable "Impact Buildings," flexible hybrid work policies, and targeted learning programs were noted as significant contributors to this achievement.
