Bahri expands Saudi ship agency network with two new offices

By: Logistics Middle East

Bahri Logistics has expanded its ship agency network in Saudi Arabia with two new offices at Yanbu Commercial and Industrial Ports and Ras Tanura Industrial Port, strengthening its presence at ports serving the Kingdom’s energy and industrial sectors.

The business unit of the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia said the expansion will increase its on-the-ground capabilities and support faster maritime services for customers.

The new locations complement Bahri Logistics’ existing ship agency presence at Jubail Commercial and Industrial Ports, Ras Al-Khair Port, Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdullah Port and King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam.

With offices on the Red Sea coast and Arabian Gulf, the company aims to improve support for customers across the oil and gas and industrial sectors.

New offices support vessel port calls

Bahri Logistics will provide ship agency services from the new offices covering vessel port call coordination, crew requirements, vessel and cargo documentation, and specialised logistics support.

The Yanbu and Ras Tanura locations will also function as coordination hubs connected to Bahri’s nationwide network and supported by digital systems. The company aims to use the offices to accelerate port procedures and increase transparency in service delivery.

Mohammed Alsinan, Vice President of Bahri Logistics, stated: “Through this expansion, we aim to respond more quickly to operational requirements, enhance coordination with relevant stakeholders, and provide integrated and reliable ship agency services that meet our customers’ needs and help improve the efficiency of their operations across the supply chain.”

Expansion supports Saudi ambitions

The additional offices form part of Bahri Logistics’ long-term sustainable growth strategy and its plans to strengthen maritime service capabilities across Saudi ports.

Expanding its presence at Yanbu and Ras Tanura also supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, including efforts to reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub.

Bahri said the expansion will contribute to the development of maritime services and infrastructure in line with international standards while supporting the competitiveness of Saudi ports.

The two offices extend the company’s ship agency network into strategically important locations for Saudi Arabia’s energy sector, providing local coordination for vessels alongside access to Bahri’s national logistics network.
