Saudi Arabia has granted exploration licenses for its first mineralized belts, Jabal Sayid and Al Hajar, spanning 4,788 sq km and rich in copper, gold, and other minerals. This marks a strategic step under Vision 2030 to move beyond extraction and build integrated domestic value chains. The initiative follows a 90% surge in the estimated value of the Kingdom's mineral resources to $2.5 trillion, driven by new discoveries and a reformed Mining Investment Law that has quadrupled exploration licenses and boosted spending....
