Turkish Airlines signed a deal with Boeing for the purchase of 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on Wednesday (September 23).
The deliveries will be made between 2033 and 2037, according to Turkish Airlines, with 100 firm, 50 option orders of the aircraft model.
The signing ceremony was held in New York, with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish Airlines Chairman Murat Seker and Boeing Executive Vice President Stephanie Pope in attendance.
Erdogan is in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly, which started on Tuesday (September 22).
