Noatum Ports Signs MoU with Al Dahra Agriculture to Advance Egypt’s Logistics Capabilities
Noatum Ports, the international ports operating arm of AD Ports Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Dahra Agriculture – Egypt. The agreement aims to advance Egypt's logistics infrastructure and enhance its role as a regional hub for trade and supply chain solutions.
Based on the MoU, the collaboration will explore joint investment and development opportunities, primarily through Noatum Ports' Safaga Terminal. The partnership seeks to strengthen Egypt's logistics ecosystem by focusing on agricultural and trade sectors, providing capabilities such as warehousing, customs clearance, and supply chain digitalization. This collaboration is expected to enhance agricultural supply chains, strengthen food security, and promote sustainable growth in Egypt's developing regions.
AbdulAziz Al Balooshi, Regional CEO for Africa & Asia at Noatum Ports, stated that the collaboration reflects a commitment to promoting Egypt's logistics ecosystem and fostering growth in key sectors. Raouf Tawfik, CEO of Al Dahra North Africa, noted that the partnership aims to unlock greater efficiencies and integrate advanced logistics solutions to strengthen Egypt's agricultural supply chains and enhance the competitiveness of its exports.
