Leapting Signs 105 MWp Aloy Charge PPA in Saudi Arabia as the First Fixed Tilt Table Project to be Fully Installed by Module Mounting Robots (MMR)

Leapting is proud to announce the signing of the PPA 105 MWp Solar PV Project in — set to become the first fixed tilt table PV project in the region to be fully installed using robotic automation.
This will be the first solar PV project in Saudi Arabia to achieve complete module installation using MMR.
Under the agreement, Leapting will deploy 10 of its self-developed (Module Mounting Robots) to achieve 100% automated module installation of over 149,000 modules on fixed tilt tables (4L configuration). Project preparations are underway, with robot deployment and installation activities scheduled to commence in Q1 2026.
Driving Efficiency, Reducing Costs & Carbon Impact
Leapting’s robotic installation system tackles the key challenges of both small and large-scale PV construction, tight schedules, and high labor costs by delivering:
- 3-5× faster installation than manual methods
- Millimeter-level accuracy with zero module damage
- Over 50% cost savings compared to conventional installation
- Over 25% shorter project timeline
In addition to lowering costs, the system also reduces heavy equipment usage and manual handling, cutting the project’s carbon footprint and improving on-site safety.
As part of the project, Leapting will support the local capability by training a Saudi dedicated technical team from Aloy, who will be fully qualified to manage on-site module installation activities.
Supporting — Building the Future of Solar Infrastructure
The signing of the Aloy Charge PPA project marks a key step in expanding Leapting’s robotic installation technology into fixed tilt table solar projects,” said Vincent Liu, Overseas Sales Director of Leapting. “With 10 MMR robots scheduled to be deployed, this project will set new benchmarks for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality, fully aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 renewable energy goals.”
