Gulf Marine Services secures new Middle East lifeboat charter
Gulf Marine Services (GMS), a London-listed provider of liftboat services, has secured a new two-year contract for one of its large E-class vessels in the Middle East. The agreement includes extension options, though financial details and the client were not disclosed.
This award comes shortly after GMS announced two separate contracts for large-class vessels in Europe. Mansour Al Alami, Executive Chairman of GMS, stated that the recent wins collectively add 2,354 days to the company’s backlog and reflect strong market demand for its specialized marine support and accommodation services.
GMS operates four E-class self-propelled, self-elevating accommodation jackups: GMS Endurance, GMS Endeavour, GMS Enterprise, and GMS Evolution. The latest contract reinforces the company’s growing presence in key offshore markets.
