His professional history also includes significant roles at companies such as DB Schenker in Indonesia, dnata in Singapore, and Cathay Pacific Airways.

Shabnum Dawood, Country Manager of DHL Global Forwarding South Africa, highlighted the strategic importance of Cheong's appointment.
