DHL Express has entered a strategic cooperation agreement with YANMU Logistics, a subsidiary of the Hassan Allam Group, to construct a new state-of-the-art service center within the East Cairo Logistics Park. This significant development is part of DHL's strategy to enhance its operational footprint and infrastructure across Egypt, supported by an investment of €24 million.

The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony at the Hassan Allam Group head office, attended by senior executives from both organizations. The new facility, which will become DHL's largest service center in Egypt, will cover 11,000 square meters of built-up area and an overall site of 13,000 square meters. It is designed to meet stringent global security standards and is projected to double the company's operational capacity in the region.

Additionally, DHL Express will expand its customs clearance facility at the Cairo International Airport. This includes further investments in advanced, automated systems to improve the efficiency and speed of processing both inbound and outbound shipments.
