AD Ports Group boosts regional logistics capabilities
AD Ports Group is continuing to strengthen its regional and international logistics capabilities through the signing of two strategic agreements in separate markets.
The Group has confirmed the formation of a new joint venture with Pakistan-based CEI Supply Chain to develop an asset-light logistics network offering comprehensive door-to-door solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, AD Ports Group will acquire a 51% majority shareholding in the newly established entity, further consolidating its rapidly expanding footprint in Pakistan. The move represents a significant step in the Group’s strategy to directly link its port infrastructure investments in the country with inland logistics and supply chain networks, enhancing end-to-end connectivity for regional and international trade flows.
The new joint venture will leverage CEI Supply Chain’s established operational presence in Pakistan, which includes offices in Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot and Islamabad. By combining strong local market expertise with AD Ports Group’s global logistics platform, the company aims to capture a substantial share of the Pakistani logistics market, with a particular focus on high-growth sectors such as automotive, retail, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and energy logistics.
In addition, AD Ports Group has announced the signing of a separate agreement with Tajikistan’s Avesto Group to establish a new joint venture company focused on delivering integrated logistics and freight forwarding services across the country. The new entity will hold exclusive rights to consolidate, manage and optimise all freight and logistics activities of Avesto Group’s subsidiaries, while also offering third-party logistics services to the wider market.
The Tajikistan joint venture will be established with AD Ports Group holding a 51% majority stake and Avesto Group owning the remaining 49%, further expanding AD Ports Group’s logistics network across Central Asia and strengthening its ability to support regional trade corridors with integrated, scalable logistics solutions.
