Kuwait has issued a Request for Proposals to qualified bidders for a major 500 MW solar power project in the Al Shagaya renewable energy zone. The project, to be developed on an IPP basis, has attracted interest from consortia led by major international and regional energy firms. The winning bidder will build, own, and operate the plant, supplying electricity to Kuwait's national grid under a 30-year agreement, with proposals due in February 2026....
