South Africa's Gold Fields has completed its takeover of Gold Road Resources, gaining full ownership of the Gruyere gold mine in Western Australia. The deal, valued at A$3.7 billion, received final court approval and will be fully implemented on October 14. Gold Road shareholders will receive a total consideration of A$3.93 per share, which includes a special dividend. The Gruyere mine is projected to produce between 325,000 and 355,000 ounces of gold in 2025. This acquisition consolidates Gold Fields' control over a major Australian gold asset....
