The Arab renewable energy sector has attracted over $351 billion in foreign investment across 360 projects in the last two decades, led by Egypt, Morocco, and the UAE. In a key recent development, Egypt's Infinity Power is set to develop a massive 1,200 MW solar-plus-storage project requiring a $1 billion investment. Concurrently, Saudi Arabia has aggressively tendered for 64 renewable projects totaling 57.5 GW since 2017, securing $24.8 billion in power purchase agreements. The UAE stands out as the region's top investor by capital, with projects valued at over $88.5 billion. ACWA Power and Infinity Power lead in the number of projects and capital expenditure, respectively, highlighting the region's significant and growing commitment to renewable energy....
