Zimbabwe has entered into a $455 million, 15-year concession agreement with Jindal Africa to modernize its 920 MW Hwange coal-fired power plant. The refurbishment of the plant's six older units is expected to span four years, with Jindal Africa recouping its investment through electricity sales.
