Theta secures engineering equipment to advance TGME
Theta Gold Mines has secured key long-lead metallurgical equipment for its TGME Gold Project in South Africa, a step that keeps the project on schedule for commissioning by the end of 2026. The equipment, including agitators, an electrowinning circuit, thickeners, and control instrumentation, was sourced from South African engineering firms Kemix and MIP Industries.
Executive Chairman Bill Guy described the procurement as a major milestone, noting that with civil works underway and technology partners in place, the project remains firmly on track. He emphasized that the development aims not only to produce gold but also to generate jobs, training, and lasting regional value. Theta Gold Mines is focused on advancing gold projects in South Africa's Eastern Transvaal goldfields, with the TGME Project as its flagship initiative.
