The UAE’s EPC heavyweights that are building tomorrow

A recent industry list highlights the leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors based in the UAE who are driving the region's energy and infrastructure development.

The top-ranked UAE-based firms are:

NMDC Energy (Ranked #1): Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, this company is a major player in offshore oil and gas projects, with recent work on the Hail & Ghasha Development Project. It is also expanding into sustainable initiatives like offshore wind and green hydrogen.

Target Engineering (Ranked #3): Also based in Abu Dhabi, Target Engineering is known for executing large-scale projects for ADNOC and is integrating sustainability measures like emissions reduction and water reuse into its operations.

Kent (Ranked #14): The Dubai-based firm secured a significant $1.1 billion contract with ADNOC Gas for gas processing facilities and a global agreement with Shell, incorporating solar hybrid power systems.

Lamprell (Ranked #19): Based in Sharjah, Lamprell maintains key agreements with Saudi Aramco and ADNOC while also developing capabilities in renewable energy, such as a new wind turbine installation vessel.
