Namib Minerals Reaffirms and Expands Collaboration with WSP for Feasibility Studies to Advance Expansion Plans

By: Globe news wire

Namib Minerals (Nasdaq: NAMM), an established African gold producer, has announced the re-engagement of global professional services firm WSP to conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for its Redwing and Mazowe gold mining assets in Zimbabwe.

The renewed and expanded engagement leverages WSP's prior experience and in-depth knowledge of the company's portfolio. The firm is tasked with providing strategic insights to guide Namib Minerals in achieving its expansion objectives and bringing these operations to full capacity.

“This engagement builds on our strong relationship with WSP and reflects our commitment to unlocking the full potential of our mines,” said Ibrahima Sory Tall, CEO of Namib Minerals. “Their expertise and familiarity with our assets will help us accelerate our development plans and deliver long-term value to our stakeholders.”

The studies represent a critical step in the company's broader strategy for sustainable growth in gold and critical minerals production. Namib Minerals currently operates the How Mine, an underground gold mine in Zimbabwe, and aims to restart operations at the Redwing and Mazowe assets, with additional exploration holdings in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
