Guinea-Conakry, Turkey’s Albayrak Advance 3 Key Transport Projects

Guinea-Conakry is moving forward with three major transport infrastructure projects in partnership with Turkish group Albayrak. The projects include the second phase of the Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport expansion, the construction of a new quay at the Port of Conakry and the arrival of a dredging vessel to improve port depth and efficiency.
The updates were confirmed during a meeting between Ousmane Gaoual Diallo, Guinea-Conakry’s Minister of Transport, and Ahmet Albayra, CEO of Albayrak. The projects aim to address growing trade volumes, modernize the country’s air transport infrastructure and improve the overall performance of Guinea’s logistics chain. Albayrak is already active in port operations, urban logistics and public services in the country.
Minister Diallo stated: “The government is pursuing a public policy that plans, chooses and decides with partners who understand local realities and contribute to common goals.”
