Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated the 6th Smart Transport, Logistics and Traffic Fair & Forum for the Middle East & Africa (TransMEA 2025) on Sunday, acting on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, under whose patronage the event is held.
TransMEA is the region's leading transportation forum and exhibition. The 6th round brings together international and regional players to showcase cutting-edge solutions, advanced trends, innovative products, and new technologies aimed to ensure efficient and faster transport and logistics services.
The three-day forum, taking place until Tuesday, brings together over 500 companies from 30 countries, reaffirming its position as the Middle East and Africa’s leading platform for transport, logistics, and industrial innovation.
Madbouly was accompanied by Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, along with several ministers and senior officials.
This year’s edition underscores the close connection between transport and industry. It showcases the latest global technologies and strategies in smart mobility, logistics, and manufacturing.
TransMEA 2025 also highlights new investment opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives designed to strengthen Egypt’s position as a regional hub for sustainable industrial and transport development.
The exhibition features discussions on export support strategies, enhancing product quality through advanced technologies, and increasing local manufacturing content.
It also focuses on connecting component manufacturers with producers of final products, facilitating industrial land allocation, and improving integration with logistics zones to boost export efficiency.
