Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc gets fatal accident at Blanket Mine
Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc (NYSE AMERICAN: CMCL; AIM: CMCL; VFEX: CMCL) (“Caledonia”) has reported that an accident occurred on September 22, 2025, at its Blanket Mine in Zimbabwe, resulting in the death of an employee. The incident is stated to have been related to secondary blasting.
The Company has indicated that its immediate priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved and to conduct a thorough investigation. Further details are reported to be unavailable pending the outcome of an official enquiry by the relevant authorities.
Caledonia has expressed its condolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased.
