Aurum reports standout high grade gold hits at Tchaga

By: Mining Review Africa

Aurum Resources has reported a significant high-grade intercept at the Tchaga deposit within its Napié Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The latest drilling results include a standout intersection of 5 metres grading 10.09 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, including a 1-metre section assaying 49.10 g/t. This result is part of a broader 5,479-metre drill program that continues to outline shallow, open-pit growth potential.

The drilling, consisting of 18 diamond holes, has returned multiple intercepts outside the deposit’s existing mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 0.54 million ounces at 1.16 g/t. Notable results include 10.8 metres at 4.52 g/t and 6 metres at 3.82 g/t. Mineralization has now been confirmed along 2,300 metres of strike, with the system remaining open along strike and at depth.

Aurum is advancing an aggressive exploration campaign across its Ivorian portfolio, with 14 rigs active between the Napié and Boundiali projects and over 130,000 metres of drilling planned for 2025. The company is well-funded, with a cash balance of approximately $43 million, and expects updated resource estimates for both projects and a pre-feasibility study for Boundiali in early 2026.
