ASX-listed Atomic Eagle has expanded the uranium mineralization footprint at its Muntanga project in Zambia, as an ongoing 30,000-meter drilling program continues to grow the project's resource base.

The program is testing three target areas at Muntanga: Chisebuka, Muntanga North and Namakande. At Muntanga North, the drilling results have delineated a roughly 600-by-200-meter zone of uranium mineralization. According to the company, the zone has not yet been closed off along strike or to the east at depth, and remains at an early stage of definition, with additional drilling needed before its full size can be established.

Drilling at Namakande has traced a wide, flat-lying zone of bedding-conformable uranium mineralization extending about 1,000 by 400 meters, and the company continues to assess that target. Three further targets at Muntanga North, numbered 6, 7 and 8, have yet to be tested and represent the next phase of the drilling campaign.

Chief executive Phil Hoskins said the company was "over halfway through an active exploration program, with the large-scale Muntanga North targets 6 to 8 still to be tested."

Atomic Eagle expects to complete the current phase of drilling at Muntanga in the fourth quarter of 2026, after which the company plans to incorporate the new results into an updated assessment of the project's resource base.

The Muntanga project forms part of a wider pipeline of uranium exploration activity in Zambia. This jurisdiction has drawn increasing attention from explorers and investors amid renewed global interest in securing nuclear fuel supply chains.
