Israel has proposed a new law to reform the Dead Sea mineral extraction concession held by ICL Group, set to expire in 2030. The draft law aims to increase the state's profit share to 50%, promote competition via an open tender, and address environmental damage from extraction. ICL, which waived its right of first refusal, plans to bid in the future tender and would receive about $3 billion in compensation if it loses the concession....
