IAG Cargo announces additional winter services to major destinations

This strategic expansion aims to meet growing demand in the air cargo market, the company said
The new schedule includes a 5 per cent increase in weekly rotations to Africa and the Middle East, highlighted by the return of the London Heathrow (LHR) to Jeddah (JED) route, which will operate six times a week.
Additionally, key transatlantic routes will benefit from a significant boost, with seven extra flights to Miami (MIA) from London Heathrow each week—effectively doubling the capacity. The same service will also resume from Dublin (DUB) with three weekly flights.
Starting at the end of October 2024, the expanded capacity will be available to IAG Cargo’s global customer base through March 2025, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting supply chain needs during peak demand periods.
In Latin America, IAG Cargo will add three weekly flights to São Paulo (GRU) from London Heathrow and three more from Madrid (MAD). This increase is complemented by six additional weekly services to Buenos Aires (EZE) from both Madrid and Barcelona (BCN), as well as four more rotations from Madrid to Santo Domingo (SDQ).
Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of IAG Cargo, commented, “The final three months of the calendar year are always an incredibly busy time for air cargo, and the increased frequency and capacity across our global network will boost the options available to our customers who trust IAG Cargo to deliver its vital role in the supply chain.”
IAG Cargo currently offers extensive capacity across six continents from London, with over 600 weekly wide-body services. Dublin serves as a critical gateway to North America, featuring more than 80 weekly wide-body rotations.
Furthermore, the company provides over 240 weekly wide-body services connecting Madrid and Barcelona with various destinations across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
