In a significant move towards sustainable energy collaboration, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure will participate for the first time in the 34th Egypt Energy Exhibition.

This participation underscores the Ministry’s commitment to the transition towards sustainable energy and the development of an integrated smart infrastructure. The exhibition is recognised as a leading regional platform for fostering cooperation, exchanging expertise, and attracting investments in the energy sector.

His Excellency Eng. Ahmed Al Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Electricity, Water, and Future Energy at the Ministry, emphasised that their involvement reflects the UAE’s dedication to supporting sustainable energy initiatives and developing smart infrastructure. He remarked that the event is a crucial opportunity to engage with decision-makers and experts in the field and explore new collaboration avenues.

“Our participation is driven by the Ministry’s commitment to engaging in strategic regional events that showcase the latest innovations in the energy sector. It is a significant opportunity to discuss solutions that aid the transition to clean energy and enhance infrastructure sustainability, aligning with our national objectives and the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision,” stated Al Kaabi.

Mark Ring, Regional Director of the Energy Group in the Middle East and Africa, welcomed the UAE Ministry’s participation, highlighting the growing regional cooperation in sustainable energy and infrastructure development. He noted the exhibition’s role as a global platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and investment in energy and safety.

Egypt Energy is the largest exhibition of its kind in the region, featuring seven specialised conferences and interactive sessions with over 150 international and regional speakers and more than 50 panel discussions. The event aims to support energy transition efforts and bolster industrial safety standards in Egypt and Africa.

Under the theme ‘Accelerating Innovation and Resilience Across the Power Value Chain,’ the exhibition will also spotlight Egypt’s plans to increase renewable energy to 42% by 2030, supported by significant government funding and the latest smart energy technologies.

The event, held concurrently with the 5th edition of FIREX Egypt 2025, is set to take place from October 14 to 16, 2025, in Cairo, Egypt.
