Namibia: Rhino Resources, Halliburton Complete Deliver Two O&G Wells in Block 2914
Energy services firm Halliburton has announced the delivery of two exploration wells on Block 2914 offshore Namibia for upstream company Rhino Resources.
The wells are located in the Petroleum Exploration License 85 and represent the first projects to be delivered using Halliburton’s services and personnel from the newly in-country operational bases in Walvis Bay, Luderitz and Swakopmund.
“This success is an example of what’s possible when world-class technology, local collaboration, and a shared long-term vision come together,” stated Antoine Berel, Vice President, Halliburton Sub-Saharan African, highlighting the role of the Namibian bases in unlocking hydrocarbon potential and positioning the country as an energy hub Africa.
