The deal covers the sale of an initial 100,000 dry tons of heavy mineral sands – sold in monthly batches of 6,000 tons – from Kazera’s Perdevlei project in South Africa.

Under the terms of the deal, Fujax will be responsible for the transportation, processing, assaying and selling of the HMS, with two pre-payments of $600,000 expected in December 2024 and January 2025, respectively. First sales are expected by March 2025, with the heavy mineral sands anticipated to be sold at a ‘factory gate’ price – 80% of the expected price.

“Fujax’s contacts and financial backing makes them perfect partners both in the short-term and for the planned expansion of our operations into the Perdevlei HMS project, which has a land area approximately 34 times larger than WHM’s current Walviskop project. Our focus is now on fine tuning the WHM plant to meet Fujax’s requirements with a view to ramping up production early in the new year,” stated Kazera Global CEO Dennis Edmonds.
