The evaluation of the institution's 2017 plan implementation and the discussion of the 2018 plan, which has been underway for two days at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa since yesterday, have concluded.

During their two-day stay, the institution's senior officials reviewed the gaps in the previous fiscal year and held in-depth discussions on issues that require attention in the next fiscal year.

In his summary, the CEO of Ethiopian Electric Power Service, Mr. Getu Geremew, emphasized that in the next fiscal year, there should be a strong focus on providing customer-oriented services, improving project implementation capacity, and reliable power supply.

The CEO, who pointed out that problems arising from corrupt practices should be properly investigated and corrected, said that by properly implementing the institution's strategy, we should significantly increase our goal of connecting new customers.

Finally, it was stated that achieving rural electricity access, establishing electrical infrastructure, and implementing SCADA technology are the next areas of focus, and the discussion concluded with the presentation of recognition and appreciation awards to centers and regions as well as experts who achieved the best performance.
