CGB Delivers $4.2M Rail Upgrade in Guinea-Conakry

Guinean mining company the Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG) has acquired a new set of rolling stock in Kamsar. The new equipment, valued at $4.2 million, will be used to relaunch a dedicated transport service for local communities in the Kamsar region.
Delivered with support from government agency Agence Nationale d’Aménagement des Infrastructures Minières (ANAIM) on June 22, the shipment includes 10 flat wagons, 10 ballast wagons, four passenger cars with 60 seats each, and a baggage wagon.
