Brunswick Exploration to Begin a Lithium Exploration Initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Brunswick Exploration Inc. has identified the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a highly prospective region for lithium exploration and has been awarded an initial exploration license in the country. The company is the first hard-rock lithium firm to embark on a systematic, country-wide exploration program in Saudi Arabia, complementing its ongoing projects in Canada and Greenland.
The company's President and CEO, Mr. Killian Charles, stated that Saudi Arabia represents an under-explored jurisdiction with exceptional potential, allowing Brunswick to leverage its unique lithium exploration expertise. He noted that the prospecting season in Saudi Arabia conveniently occurs during the colder winter months in Canada and Greenland, enabling the company to generate prospecting results year-round.
The newly awarded exploration license, pending final administrative approvals, is situated approximately 150 kilometers from Buraydah. The selected license area spans 8,467 hectares and was chosen based on its favorable geology, geochemical data, and interpreted satellite imagery, with the site being easily accessible via major highways.
Saudi Arabia offers strong fundamentals for mineral exploration, featuring a long mining history, well-established laws, and significant government funding. The region provides favorable geology with excellent outcrop exposure and exceptional infrastructure, all within an area that has seen little to no historic hard rock lithium exploration.
This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's strategic goal of establishing itself as a major lithium processing hub to meet regional demand, a key component of its broader Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economy beyond oil and gas. The country is already a well-established mining jurisdiction hosting several major and junior mining companies.
Brunswick Exploration is currently planning a prospecting campaign in Saudi Arabia scheduled to commence in the first half of 2026. This program, alongside the anticipated maiden resource estimate for its Mirage project in Canada and planned drilling in Greenland, positions the company for a dynamic start to the new year.
The scientific and technical information disclosed in the announcement has been reviewed and approved by Mr. Charles Kodors, Manager of International Projects, who is a qualified Professional Geologist. Brunswick Exploration is a Montreal-based company focused on grassroots exploration for lithium, a critical metal for global decarbonization.
The company's forward-looking statements caution that actual results may differ materially from current expectations due to various risks and uncertainties, including delays in obtaining governmental approvals, fluctuations in commodity prices, and other factors inherent in the mineral exploration industry.
