Saudi Arabia's Transport General Authority conducted a major enforcement campaign, apprehending 1,417 violators in one week for providing unlicensed passenger transport services. The violators included 799 individuals caught soliciting passengers without a permit and 618 caught operating unauthorized transport in private vehicles. Authorities imposed fines and impounded vehicles as legal penalties for these offenses.
